My new swear.

I’m overly fond of Christ on a Bicycle.

My favorite is Jesus tittyfucking Christ. I tried to get it to become a popular swear where I live, but it hardly ever caught on. Such a shame.

I wrote something.

Writing makes me feel really uncomfortable since I hardly write anything serious. I don’t know if I like this or not. I like parts of it, I know. I’ve only just written this, so it’s probably fairly sloppy. The name is unofficial. I tend to change these things if I feel a need.

Bottles of Blood

We played football for two hours
I took the bus back home to the apartment
And my teammate called me to tell me
They’re bottling my blood for good measure

These fellows are odd ones, I know
One told me about riding the bus across some country
And how all of the land was flat
You could see straight across it
But I don’t like the idea of seeing everything there is to offer
I feel like the land is flaunting itself off to me
Then saying “oh, you can see this great forest or this great lake or this great pub in the distance”

Another one of the fellows has stories about being a paratrooper
How sitting in the aircraft felt like awaiting execution
And when he was falling to the ground, bullets shot holes through the parachute
How the fire probably shot beams of light through them
He talks about how he was afraid of heights
He always laughs at the end of his stories

Then the one guy that makes a toast at every meal
Another who always complains about taking off his fedora for practice
Eventually everyone will look at me when they are through telling their own stories
As if they expect a young man to have something to say

You see, I’m bound to grow up to be an odd fellow
I like to think of these days like courses for my old age
But I don’t have any stories to tell people like them
And these marks from the needles are hurting my arms
